Fame the movie, is film inspired by the tv show from the 80s which was a spinoff the movie Fame, when your premise starts with this, you already are in trouble… For those too young to remember what fame is about… It follows a few students of the New York Academy of Performing Arts…. To make references that everyone can understand, it’s like if the Hills meet High School Musical… And it is SO painful watch, and this despite the lovely Kherington Payne, former contestant on So You Think You Can Dance, gracing us with her presence… Trying not to be biased; I think we’ll see that girl back in more movies, and even some where she doesn’t have to dance, either that, or the other ensemble cast is so bad that she looked so much better.

Just to give you an idea on how attrocious the movie is… Megan Mullally, the annoying chick from that annoying show Will and Grace, plays a voice coach/instructor, and at some point goes singing into a karaoke bar, and let me tell you… after seeing her lipsyncing, I trully believe that Ashlee Simpson is a genius at it… that’s how bad it was… and at this point I’m wondering if it’s useful to talk about how stereotypical the flick is: from the talented boy who used to play in his family restaurant, to the young naive talented but shy girl, with also the girl who wants to break free from her parents, and the kid being ripped off trying to make a movie… the whole movie is an endless string of stereotypical cliches….

Futurama is back!... straight to DVD, the love child of Simpsons' creator Matt Groening and David X Cohen, is coming back to life like a zombie robot from its space grave; and it is not a regular half assed bargain bin quality release, but an outstanding feature that will rejoice the fans as well as setting new standards when it comes to approach time travel in a storyline. Quick recap, Philip J Fry, a pizza delivery boy from the 20th century is frozen to awaken in the year 3000, and befriending, alcoholic and cigar smoking robot, Bender, and falling in love with mutant cyclop Leela. In this 2 hour episode, after losing the Earth to scammers, the secret for time travel is discovered on Fry's ass, and that's when mischief starts... What happens when you send a homicidal maniac robot back to 2000, can you escape fate, who is responsible for Al Gore losing the presidential election, what was the secret of time travel doing on Fry's ass, what happens with time paradox? All those questions will be answer with a logic that will leave nerds in an estatic state as well as scratching their heads.
